Located at the center Hamra-Beirut,the client wanted his old classical apartment building to have a facade renovation along with the interior spaces  with a proposal of a pub concept at the ground level .

The interior space of each floor was designed to have a set of 4 compact hotel rooms with a maximum area of 18m2 each having a modular 65cm wide space containing the bathroom services and closets giving emphasis to a clean rectangular public area where the bedroom, TV and sofa are set .

Keeping in mind the exquisite traditional architecture of the building and the surrounding context, the outcome was a Mediterranean blue color paint of the whole building envelope with some enhancements to part of the classical architectural details ( cornices , balconies).

The ground level altered between two concepts of pubs one of which was “ SWAY“ featuring the classical look with antique furniture , and another named “ CLOCKWORK ORANGE “ featuring the jazzy look with modern furniture .
